110: The Blank Canvas

Send us Fan Mail

After returning from Washington and a conference full of big ideas about women, leadership, and power, I found myself staring at a different kind of question: What do I want to create next? A blank canvas can feel intimidating when you're used to having a plan, but maybe the empty space isn't asking us to have all the answers. Maybe it's giving us permission to decide what comes next, including what we want simply because we want it.

Key Takeaways:

  • A blank space in life can be an opportunity, not a problem to solve.
  • The beliefs we've carried for years may not belong in the next version of our lives.
  • Asking for what you want is not the same thing as being selfish.
  • Creating something meaningful also means figuring out how to sustain it.
